T-shirt Production Tutorial
I. Style Analysis
Modeling starts with defining our objectives:
For basic T-shirts, you need to adjust physical parameters and particle spacing to achieve the overall fabric texture of the garment.
II. Pattern Placement
Step 2: Adjust the positions of the pattern pieces appropriately while laying them out, to avoid clipping during the simulation after sewing.

III. Sewing Pattern Pieces
Step 3: When sewing, ensure the stitching lines within the 3D viewport do not overlap with other lines of the same color, and keep the directional arrows displayed during sewing consistent.

After all pattern pieces are sewn together, the guide stitching lines do not overlap with one another.

IV. Pattern Simulation
Step 4: Apply hardening treatment to all pattern pieces before simulation. This keeps the garment neat and structured throughout the simulation process, making it easier to adjust the shape later on.
Once the fabric is hardened, it becomes stiff and holds a neat, structured shape.
V. Detailed Adjustment
Increasing the elasticity of the neckline edge will make the neckline flatter and neater.

To achieve the desired fabric texture during simulation, select the fabric in the Fabric Properties viewport and modify its physical parameters in the panel below.
Physical parameters consist of stretch and bending values. The higher the stretch parameter, the less stretchable the fabric will be; the higher the bending parameter, the stiffer and firmer the fabric becomes.
Fabrics come with their default preset physical parameters once imported.

Once the basic adjustments are finished, you may add topstitching according to your needs.
