Part 1 Fabric Acquisition and Import
I. Fabric Library
Operation path:
- Scene Manager Window ➡️ Current ➡️ Resource Library ➡️ Fabric Material
- Scene Manager Window ➡️ Current ➡️ Fabric ➡️ Property Editor ➡️ Fabric Library
II. Fabric Import
Operation Path:
- Select Pattern ➡️ Right‑click Fabric ➡️ Apply to Selected Patterns
2. Drag fabric➡️ Release the right mouse button on the pattern
Part 2 Fabric Properties
I. Scene Editing Window: Fabric
Apply Fabric
Purpose:
Assign fabric to patterns to display its texture and corresponding physical properties.
Operation Path:
- Select Patterns ➡️ Right‑click Fabric ➡️ Apply to Selected Patterns
- Drag Fabric ➡️ Release mouse over the pattern
Operation Instructions:
- Both methods support applying fabric to multiple patterns.
- When using this function, first select the target patterns, then follow the corresponding operation steps.
Create Fabric
Purpose:
Create new fabrics to meet different usage requirements.
Operation Path:
- Click Add directly to generate a default fabric, which can then be modified.
- Select an existing fabric and click Duplicate. A new fabric will be generated based on parameters of the selected fabric; partial values can be adjusted to create similar fabrics.
Composite Fabric
Purpose:
Achieve combined‑material effects on a single fabric, including varied rendering effects (e.g. partial glow, partial laser effect), coating effects and custom print combinations.
Operation path:
Scene Manager Window ➡️ Current ➡️ Fabric ➡️ Add Composite Fabric
Operation Instructions:
- After adding surface materials, you can independently control material properties, arrangement and other settings.
- Enable " Use Base Material " in the Property Editor to allow normal maps from the base fabric to pass through the surface material.

Operation Path:
Scene Manager Window ➡️ Current ➡️ Fabric ➡️ Right‑click
Tool Name | Function Description |
Rename | Allows you to rename the selected fabric. |
Select Patterns Assigned with This Fabric | Select all 2D pattern pieces assigned with this fabric material. |
Assign to Pattern | Apply the selected fabric to patterns selected in 2D or 3D view. |
Add colorway Group | Add a colorway group for the current fabric. |
Add Multi‑layer Material | Add an extra style layer based on the base fabric; the new layer covers the base fabric by default. |
Flip Front and Back | Swap the front and back sides of the fabric. |
Save to Fabric Library | Save the edited fabric preset into the local fabric library. |
Upload to Cloud | Upload the fabric file to the shared cloud resource library. |
Delete All Unused Fabrics | Remove all fabric materials that are not referenced by any pattern piece. |
Show Preview | Preview the visual appearance of the fabric. |
II. Attribute Editing Window: Fabric
Purpose:
Edit fabric properties.
Operation Path:
After selecting the target fabric material in the Scene Manager Window, the Property Editor will display property settings for the selected fabric.
Tool Name | Function Description |
Fabric | Edit fabric styles with Style3D Fabric. |
Open | Select and open fabric files from local storage. |
Save | Save the current fabric to local storage. |
Fabric Library | Open the fabric library to select appropriate fabrics. |
Name | Displays the name of current fabric; click to activate edit mode. |
AI Style (Beta) | For AI image generation, select the 3D Tag under the Apparel Category tab. Targeted enhancement will be performed by zones according to fabric‑type tags. |
Construction | Type information of the current fabric. |
Material | Material property parameters of the current fabric. |
Physical Properties | Physical property parameters of the current fabric. |
