Part 1: Introduction to Avatar Types
I. Software‑Predefined Avatars
- Software‑predefined avatars are updated alongside software releases and are part of the core software features. There are eleven avatars in total, covering five categories: adult male, adult female, boys, girls and toddlers.
- Software‑predefined avatars are derived from real‑human body scan data, with symmetry processing and body‑shape optimization. They feature balanced proportions that closely replicate real‑human body shapes and details without impairing garment simulation performance.They can be used for most scenarios, including pattern review, style evaluation, rendering, virtual runway shows and image export. They are also the avatars best compatible with other built‑in software assets (including sizing settings, appearances, hairstyles, footwear, poses, animations, facial expressions and character customization).

II. Official Marketplace Industrial Avatars
- The industrial avatars from the official marketplace are developed based on standard industrial mannequin references. They feature smooth and well‑proportioned body shapes, suitable for pattern and style review in garment industrial workflows.
- These avatars are built to conform to Asian body standards. For overseas trade clients, the built‑in European and American avatar series is recommended. There are four avatars in total, offered in two versions.

III. Display Avatars
- Display avatars are special avatars dedicated to visual presentation. Though some are non‑human figures, they retain partial functions of built‑in avatars and work well for presentation‑oriented scenarios.
- Display avatars have stylized body shapes, yet their size adjustment range is limited. They are not suitable for pattern review.

IV. Fitted Avatars
- Fitted Avatar is a feature based on the default avatar. It can fully transform the default avatar to match the appearance of customer‑provided assets.
- Fitted avatars are only used for pattern‑review scenarios where customers require an exact match with physical real‑world mannequins. However, industrial avatars incorporate heavy industrial simulation and simplified details, while national standard sizing does not follow supermodel proportions. As a result, most fitted avatars may look distorted with unbalanced proportions, and are not suitable for presentation rendering or other visual‑output purposes.
V. Custom Avatars
Custom avatars are fully customized avatars created according to client requirements. Custom‑avatar types include reconstruction‑style avatars, fitted‑style avatars, character‑image custom avatars, and adjustment‑style avatars.
Part II: Virtual Avatar Editing
I. Property Editing Panel
Purpose: Display the current avatar information and edit avatar properties as needed.
Operation Path: Select the Avatar➡️ Property Editor

Purpose: Display how garments fit on the avatar, show garment performance under different avatar poses, and assist in positioning garment pattern pieces.

Function Introduction:

Arrangement Point | Click to generate arrangement points that densely cover the body. Before simulation, use the "arrangement point" function to properly position the plate on the model surface. |

Part III: Virtual Avatar Measurement
Purpose: Measure circumferences and distances of different avatar body parts.

Edit Avatar Measurement
Function Introduction:

Avatar Tape Tool | Add tape strips on the avatar surface so that pattern piece seam edges / internal lines stick to the avatar tape during simulation. |
