Environment

发布于:2024-09-04

Purpose:

Displays the environmental elements within the entire 3D viewport, allowing you to control the background display effects and adjust the physical environment properties used for 3D simulation.

Operation Path:

Scene Management Window ▶ Scene ▶ Environment ▶ Background / Light Map / Ground / Wind

Operation Instructions:

Within a scene, the environment system controls the background display effects in the 3D viewport as well as the gravity attributes of the scene. It is mainly divided into four sections: Background, HDRI Lighting, Ground, and Wind Controller.

In the Scene Manager, you can control the visibility of each function option in the environment system.

Feature Introduction:

Background

In the 3D window, you can add a background image and change the background color, as well as adjust the image’s fill mode and other related settings.

Show Grid: Allows you to modify grid properties, including color, number of divisions, and opacity.

Gravity and Air Drag: Represents the air resistance value in the environment. A higher value means the clothing experiences less downward pressure when falling; a lower value means the pressure is greater.

Represents the level of gravity in the scene. A higher value means weaker gravity; conversely, a lower value means stronger gravity.

Help Center → 3D Window → Right-click  → Scene Environment

Light Map

You can set a lighting environment map for the scene.

The higher the intensity of the light map, the more visible and pronounced the lighting texture becomes.

Intensity 0    Maximum Intensity

Ground

You can enable or disable ground simulation, and adjust the ground height and friction coefficient to modify the garment display and runway simulation effects.

You can enable or disable ground simulation and adjust the ground height and friction coefficients to modify the effects of garment presentation and runway simulation.

Attend Simulation: Controls whether the ground participates in the simulation.

Height: The distance between the ground and the avatar.

Static Friction Coefficient:The degree of friction between the garment and the ground when the garment is in a stationary state.

Dynamic : The friction level between the garment and the ground during movement.

Wind:

Purpose:

To provide a wind-control component for the 3D window, creating a simulated wind-blowing effect.

Operation Path:

Scene Management Window ▶ Scene ▶ Environment ▶ Wind

Instructions:

By default, the wind controller is hidden. You can click the eye icon on the right to toggle its visibility.

You can adjust values such as wind strength and change the wind type, including Spherical Wind and Planar Wind.

Spherical Wind: Blows air outward in all directions from its center.

Planar Wind: Controls the overall wind direction across the scene.

Wind Controller Parameters Details

Type

Spherical: Blow wind all around

Planar: Blow wind to a certain direction

Strengthen

The strength of the blow: The bigger the value is , the heavier the wind blows.

Decay[0~100]

The decay value of the wind strength: 0 stands for none-decay and 100 for all-decay. The planar wind does not have a decay value.

Frequency(sec)

The wind strength is not consistent; the period of a strong-weak cycle is the frequency. When the frequency is 0, there is no cycle.

Frequency(sec)

The irregularity of the wind: 0 is very regular and 100 is very irregular.
