Seam Tape

Purpose:

Add interfacing tape to the seam allowance to prevent deformation and stretching of the pattern edge during simulation.

Operation Path:

Edit Pattern ▶ Select Seam Allowance ▶ Property Editor ▶ Enable "Seam Tape"

Operation Instructions:

• "Extend to Edge": When enabled, the interfacing tape extends to the pattern edge.

• "Width" : When enabled, the additional simulation thickness set for the interfacing tape will be included in the simulation.

• "Presets" (New in 202404): Provides five preset interfacing options: Default, No-stitch Interfacing 20g, Resin Interfacing 90g, Spunbond Interfacing 40g, Custom. Users can also customize the physical properties of the interfacing.
