Outer Expansion

The “Outer Expansion Fill” function in Studio intelligently extends the pattern within a piece to its edge area.

Parameter Settings

Function	Description
	When enabled, adjusting the Outer Expansion value will apply the changes to all patterns simultaneously.
	The default value is 0. When a value greater than 0 is entered, the outline of each pattern will automatically expand by the specified amount, creating a Expansion Safety zone to prevent pattern intersections during automatic marking. In manual marking mode, this feature must be enabled for the protection to take effect.
	When enabled and values are entered for top/bottom/left/right, the graphics or textures on the pattern will extend outward in a rectangular shape according to the specified offset.
	After entering values, the graphics or textures will extend outward following the actual contour shape of the pattern, expanding according to the specified offset distance.

Application Scenarios: In some print garment workflows, outer expansion areas and print reassembly are required during nesting to optimize fabric usage and size flexibility.
