1. Marker

1.1.1 Support size by size marker type.
  • Background:In customers’ bulk production scenarios involving multiple sizes,the current marker-making function cannot uniformly arrange all pattern pieces in size order.
  • Description:All pattern pieces, regardless of style, are arranged in the marker according to size order, either from the smallest size to the largest size or from the largest size to the smallest size.

1.2.1 Added costing
  • Background: For the BOM‑based costing system, domestic users require an estimate garment costs as a price reference; overseas users have also raised similar requests.

2.1.1 Free lines(Drafting)
  • Background: 2D CAD Software allows drawing open free lines during pattern drafting and only requires closed outlines when finalizing patterns for greater drawing flexibility.
  • Description:
    • Draw
      • When the function is enabled: Free lines (non-pattern pieces) are automatically generated when drawing with Pen, Rectangle or Circle tools.
      • When the function is disabled: Drawn shapes will be converted into pattern pieces automatically upon completion.
      • Special operation for Pen mode: Single separate lines (open shapes) can be drawn; double-click to finish the current drawing.

      • Entry: Trace → Select closed shape → Right-click and select Trace to Pattern
      • Closed Contour Recognition Rules:
        • If the gap between adjacent lines is less than 2 mm: Automatically identified as a closed contour

2.1.2 Replacement of different segment point pattern
  • Background: Pattern replacement fails if vertex counts mismatch, as edits often change the number of vertices on pattern pieces.
  • Description: After selecting pattern, the right-click menu for replacing the pattern has been consolidated into one.

2.1.3 Transforform of multiple point or line control
  • Background: Previously, scaling operations only supported adjusting a single selected line segment or point. Scaling multiple elements in batch required repeated operations, resulting in low efficiency and failing to meet the editing need for uniformly proportional scaling across multiple shapes.
  • Description: Previously only single points or segments could be scaled separately; now multiple selected elements can be scaled proportionally together while maintaining their relative layout.

2.1.4 2D window show hidden measurement line
  • Background: The current 2D window lacks flexible control over the display and hiding of measurement lines, which reduces operational efficiency.

    • An option to show or hide the measurement line, which is hide by default.

2.1.5 Support intersecting lines on 3D avatar
  • Background:The current line-drawing feature on the Style3D avatar has a limitation: split lines drawn on the avatar cannot intersect.. Customers need this capability for pattern making , such aswaist designs, multi-layer splicing, and irregular deconstructed designs.

2.1.6 Support retaining holes when flattening pattern
  • Background:When pattern flattened by drawing lines on a 3D avatar, hole structures cannot be fully preserved. Pattern makers need to manually recreate the holes after flattening.

2.1.7 Custom text colors for grahic dimension
  • Background:In marker viewing scenarios, the current text color for graphic dimensions lacks sufficient readability. Customers also need to export pattern files withgraphic included for all dimension.

2.1.8 Two-Color Notches

3.1.4 Random color to the pattern
  • Background: All pattern pieces share the same color currently, making it hard to distinguish stacked pieces, check overlapping/interpenetrating issues, and identify component borders in rendered exports.
  • Description: The system automatically assigns distinct colors to each pattern piece, with adjacent pieces rendered in different hues.
    • The 2D and 3D interfaces are each controlled by their own on/off switches.

3.1.6 Shortcut key to adjust scale of Fix Pin
  • Background: Currently, the brush size of the pin tool cannot be adjusted using keyboard shortcuts. Users need to manually adjust the size repeatedly while drawing, making the operation cumbersome.

3.1.7 Added independent orientation for Bonding
  • Background: Clients require separate grain directions for fusible interlining; Studio now supports independent grain angle adjustment for interlining. The separate interlining grain setting is off by default and matches the fabric grain direction after activation.
  • Description:Support independently setting the grain direction for pattern-piece interlining layers, allowing it to be distinguished from the fabric body’s grain direction and adjusted separately.

5.1.1 Optimize initial simulation speed & Ray tracing rendering speed
  • Background: The software takes a long time to refresh simulation data when launching simulation for the first time after opening a project.
  • Description: Optimize logic for time-consuming steps such as Topology and collectConstraint to reduce initial simulation loading time and improve efficiency. The overall loading time for the first simulation can be shortened by approximately 400ms.

5.1.2 Optimize the Initial Startup Speed of Ray Tracing
  • Background: After opening a project, enabling ray-tracing rendering for the first time takes a relatively long time because the software needs to initialize ray-tracing resources.
  • Description: The logic has been optimized for time-consuming processes such as ray sampling, global illumination precomputation, and material ray-tracing data loading. This shortens the initial ray-tracing startup load time and improves operational efficiency. Overall, the first-time ray-tracing load time can be reduced by approximately 400 ms.
