1. Software Interface

1.1 interface upgrade

  • The software interface has been optimized and upgraded. In addition to the new functions, the function partition has been adjusted to enhance the convenience of use.
  • This optimization mainly merges the original top menu and the left side menu.
V1.9
V2.0

1.2 Toolbar

  • For the adjustment of the original tool position, please refer to the following comparison chart. (Cancel top import entry).
  • New "free-form" related functions (please refer to the 4.1 for details)

    1.3 2D window

  • Two options of top surface and plane are added to the 2D window. Users can switch between top surface and plane to operate corresponding resources to avoid inconvenience of clicking caused by overlapping resources.
  • The display menu in the upper right corner is only valid for 2D windows (that is, 2D and 3D interfaces are independent of each other)

1.4 Optimization Toolbar and Material Library Interaction

  • Toolbars and material libraries can be dragged and dropped according to requirements, and the library can be moved according to operation requirements.
  • Resource Library, which combines props, materials, and templates. Users can search for corresponding resources by switching methods.

1.5 New Help Center Entry

  • The menu bar adds a help center entrance, and users will jump to the help center page after clicking.

2. System function

3. Import/Export the Resource

3.1 Support for Gaussian Model cloud file import

  • Support the format of. ply Gaussian point cloud file imported into the GoShop as a scene

3.2 Support USD file reading

  • Support users to import the USD file, and can edit the properties of props.

4. Resource Operations

4.1 Support for free styling

  • 4.1.1 Straight Line
    • The user can create straight lines in a plane or space within a 3D window.
    • When drawing, click any point as the starting point, and then click the second point to complete the creation.
    • You can get the exact length by entering the value, and enter the carriage return.
    • During the drawing process, the line will highlight different colors to indicate that it is parallel to different axes (coaxial point color).
When the line is parallel to the x-axis, the line is highlighted in red.
When the line is parallel to the y-axis, the line highlights blue.
When the line is perpendicular to the x-axis, the line highlights green.
  • 4.1.2 Arc
    • You can create arcs in a plane or space within a 3D window.
    • When drawing, click any point as the starting point, click the second point, take the distance between the two points as the chord length, then move the mouse in the plane or vertical direction to obtain the chord height value, and click again to complete the creation.
    • Obtain the exact chord height and segment number by entering a numerical value (Tab can be used to switch between different numerical values), and enter a carriage return.
    • If you need to make the finished arc a face, you need to close the arc (or draw with an arc).
  • 4.1.3 Rectangle
    • The user can create a rectangle in a plane within the 3D viewport.
    • When drawing, by clicking any point as a starting point, move the mouse and then click the second point, you can complete the creation.
    • When drawing, you can obtain the accurate side length by entering a numerical value (Tab can be used to switch between different numerical values), and enter a carriage return.
  • 4.1.4 Circle/Polygon
    • The user can create circles/polygons in a plane within the 3D window.
    • When drawing, by clicking any point as the starting point, the point will be used as the center of the circle, by moving the mouse to determine the size of the radius, click again to complete the creation.
    • When drawing, you can obtain the exact radius and number of segments/sides by entering numerical values (Tab can be used to switch between different numerical values), and enter to complete the carriage return.
  • 4.1.5 Arc Shape
    • Users can create arcs within planes in the 3D window.
    • The drawing method is the same as that of an arc. Click any point as the starting point, click the second point, use the distance between the two points as the chord length, then move the mouse in a plane or vertical direction to obtain the chord height value, and click again to complete the creation.
    • Obtain the exact chord height and segment number by entering a numerical value (Tab can be used to switch between different numerical values), and enter a carriage return.
  • 4.1.6 Eraser
    • Users can erase lines in editable props by using the eraser.
    • If you erase an edge that has become a face, the face is converted to a line.
  • 4.1.7 Extrude
    • You can stretch a face into a body by using the Stretch function.
    • When stretching, click on the surface to be stretched, and then move the mouse in the direction of stretching to complete the stretching operation.
    • During stretching, you can achieve precise stretching by entering numerical values.
    • When stretching, after the first click, the mouse can move to attract points, lines and surfaces.
    • Quick stretch, double-click to quickly perform the last "stretch amount" and direction (positive/negative)
  • 4.1.8 Sweep
    • You can create a line as a trajectory, and then use the sweep function to generate a freeform shape according to the trajectory, which is perpendicular to the face of the current line.
    • Operation mode, line selection, on the selected surface.
  • 4.1.9 Offset
    • For [Face], quantitatively create inward or outward faces by using the Offset tool.
  • 4.1.10 Bevel (Beta) still under optimization
    • Smooth manipulation of right-angle edges by selecting lines or faces
  • 4.1.11 Grouping/Ungroupding (Editable)
    • When Freeform is created, the state is the editing state, that is, lines and faces,
    • After the free style is created, select the finished style and right-click "Grouping" to display it in the Scene list.
    • After being converted into an "Grouping", it will be regarded as one prop for operation.
    • If you need to return to the editing status of free style, select the editable prop and right-click "Ungrouping" to edit it.

4.2 Supports batch operations on resources under “User”

    • The user can hold down Ctrl, and then select multiple resources, and finally the right mouse button for batch operation.

4.6 Prop Flipping

  • The user can right-click to flip the selected props or groups up and down/left and right/back and forth.

4.7 Supports using the arrow keys to move objects in 2D mode.

  • In 2D interface, user can move the target of selection by using direction key.

4.8 Support for applying materials to doors and windows

  • Support the user to replace the door and window material

4.9 Support display distance when dragging doors and windows under 2D window

4.10 Supports setting size direction for door, window and hole under 2D window

5. Render the image

6. Animation Editing

6.1 Supports saving lenses individually.

  • Select the shot currently to be saved, and click on the property bar on the right to save it locally.
  • The next time you use it, you can directly click Open to select the saved lens file locally.
