Substitute

Purpose:

To resolve the issue of inconsistent surface topology between external OBJ models and software preset models, ensuring accurate fitting results.

By combining the grading feature, quickly align the surface topology of models in different sizes to enable consistent fitting, and reduce repetitive operations.

Application Scenarios:

• Importing external third-party mannequins: Import third-party OBJ format virtual mannequins into Studio for garment fitting.

• Multi-size fitting: During grading, align the surface topology of mannequins in different sizes to ensure accuracy and consistency of the garment fitting.

Operation Instructions:

Edit avatar▶ Substitute

• Adjust Parameters: Modify the parameters below to make the avatar resemble the target avatar.

• Adjust Skeleton: Fine-tune the avatar's skeleton nodes to align its posture with the target avatar in 3D window.

• Save: Click Save in the upper-right corner to finalize.

Multi-size Auto Fitting Operation Path:

1. Base Size Model Settings:

• In the grading interface, click the base size model (T/A pose).

• Enter the, select

• Adjust the skeleton joints of the substitute to match the target avatar in 3D window

• Click to complete the alignment.

3. Other Size Model Settings:

• In the grading interface, click on a non-base size model (T/A pose).

  

• Repeat the steps above: Enter ▶ ▶ Adjust the skeleton joints of the substitute to match the target avatar in 3D window ▶ Click to complete the alignment

• If there are multiple models, repeat this process for each one.

4. Right-click in the grading interface and select [Auto Fitting Based on Base Size]
