Purpose:
To change the movement pivot of objects within the 3D window.
Operation Path:
3D Window ▶ Right-click on empty space ▶ Coordinates ▶ World / Screen / Local Coordinates
Instructions:
Different coordinate modes represent different pivot centers for moving objects.
Feature Description:
World Coordinates
Positions are based on the world’s origin.
All objects are transformed relative to the global coordinate system, and the world coordinates determine the object’s absolute position in the scene.
Screen Coordinates
A 2D-style coordinate system.
Movement and rotation are performed relative to the display screen’s orientation, using the screen as the reference plane.
Local Coordinates
A coordinate system centered on the object itself.
Each object has its own local axes, and all transformations (move/rotate/scale) are performed relative to that object’s orientation.
