Purpose:
The Style Line Tool allows designers to guide fabric deformation in 3D space without altering the garment’s outer contour, by adding internal lines within the fabric. It plays a key role in transforming 2D patterns into aesthetically structured 3D forms. During processes such as shaping (draping), hardening, and ironing, style lines often serve as reference paths or boundary guides for brush tools.
