● Basic Functions

Check Garment Pressure on Different Body Areas

  • Displays the pressure exerted by the garment on various body parts to evaluate garment fit and comfort.
  • Supports quantitative analysis for pattern optimization and fit assessment.
  • High-pressure areas are shown in red when simulation is enabled.
  • Clicking on the body or garment displays the precise pressure value.
  • Clicking on the garment also shows the percentage of fabric deformation in warp/weft directions.

Stress Visualization

  • Shows the internal stress caused by external forces (e.g., avatar support force + mouse dragging). Regions with higher force are highlighted in red.
  • Reflects the internal reaction force that attempts to restore the garment to its original shape when deformed.
  • Clicking the garment shows stress values and warp/weft deformation percentages.
  • The panel displays the 2D/3D pattern lengths and their differences.

Fabric Strain Visualization

  • Displays the fabric stretching caused by external forces.
  • Highly stretched areas are highlighted in red.
  • Can be enabled during simulation. Clicking the garment shows deformation values and warp/weft stretching ratios.
  • 2D/3D pattern length comparison is shown beneath the color bar.

Thermal Analysis

  • Analyze the thermal insulation effect of garments worn on the human body, visualizing how heat is distributed across different body areas.
  • Applicable for conducting thermal map studies on styles requiring warmth, helping evaluate and validate garment insulation performance.
  • The current thermal simulation is based solely on the number of garment layers in 3D, and does not yet correspond to the real-world thermal performance of functional insulating materials. If alignment with actual physical insulation properties is required, please contact your project manager for a custom development project.

Length Difference

  • When simulation is enabled, clicking the garment displays two measurement lines in warp and weft directions, with deformation calculated as:
    (3D Length / 2D Length) %

Indicator Line on Color Bar

  • Dynamically moves to show the value of the selected garment point.

Garment Fitting Attribute Customization

Presets

Garments with different elasticities stretch differently on the same avatar.
The software provides four predefined elasticity levels.
When switching between elasticity presets, the stress range represented by each color also changes.
As shown below:
Higher elasticity presets result in more green (indicating the fabric has not reached maximum stretch).
Minimal Stretch
Low Stretch
Medium Stretch
High Stretch

Open & Save

  • Attribute settings can be saved and reopened as needed.
  • If the default elasticity presets cannot meet your needs, you may adjust the stretch percentage, color mapping, and transparency under the “Default” tab and save your custom preset.

Color Range

  • Users may customize the number of color segments displayed.

Thermal Interface

  • Temperature units can be switched between ℃ / ℉.

Insulation Coefficient

  • The insulation coefficient represents the garment’s thermal insulation ability—the higher the value, the better the insulation. Currently, the system does not distinguish between different fabrics; all fabrics share the same insulation coefficient.
  • A lower insulation coefficient indicates weaker insulation, causing the body to lose more heat, resulting in lower displayed body temperature in the thermal map.
Coefficient of Heat Insulation 100
Coefficient of Heat Insulation 50
Coefficient of Heat Insulation 1
  • Shows how different numbers of garment layers affect body temperature under the same parameter settings.
