Operation Path:

Operation Instructions:
Import Alembic:

Export Option:

Export Alembic | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Object | Enable this option to export all corresponding elements. | ||
Thin | Only retains the basic outline of the surface without showing noticeable three-dimensional thickness. The file size is relatively small | |||
Thick | The model retains a clearly defined three-dimensional thickness, meaning the object has complete dimensions of length, width, and height in 3D space. The file size is relatively large. | |||
Option | Combine
| Separate Meshs:Controls the separation of the mesh. Combine All Meshs:Merges all mesh parts into a single mesh. Combine by Fabrics and Trims:The mesh will be merged according to the grouping of fabrics and trims. | ||
Automatically Rename Meshs | Automatically generates or adjusts a unique name for each mesh during export to avoid confusion caused by duplicate names. | |||
Unified UV Coordinates
| Determines the continuity of the texture alignment across multiple components. | |||
Scale
| mm/cm/m/ft/inch (adjustable size percentage) | The file size after being imported into the software will be adjusted according to the selected scale option and percentage value | ||
Axis Conversion
| The model in an Alembic file may use a coordinate axis system different from that of your current garment-design software. Axis Conversion is used to correct the differences in axis orientation during import, ensuring that the model faces the right direction and the character’s posture appears normal. | |||
Step
| In the process of drawing, editing, or measuring, the system’s minimum incremental unit for value changes. It determines the precision of each adjustment when you drag, scale, move, or input parameters. A smaller step size allows for more precise adjustments, while a larger step size enables faster operations but with lower accuracy. | |||
