Create Guideline

Purpose:

Generate indicator lines based on the current mouse position as a reference for modifying the pattern When the user moves an edge or vertex, the indicator line has an adsorption effect on the vertex location.

Operation Path:

Home ▶ Edit Pattern ▶ Right-click menu ▶ Generate Crosshair/Generate Normal Line

Home ▶ Edit Pattern ▶ Vertex Context Menu ▶ Generate crosshairs

Operation Instructions:

When you use Generate Crosshairs, two leader lines perpendicular to the coordinate system are generated at the mouse location

When you use Generate Normal Lines, two lines perpendicular to each other are generated at the mouse position, tangential to the curve and normal along the curve.

When the Adsorption to Edge feature is turned off, the indicator line no longer has an adsorption effect on vertices.
