Purpose:
Support for inserting dart, editing dart, deleting dart, trace as a dart, and setting as a dart
Operation Path:
Home ▶ Rectangle Drop-down Menu ▶ Dart
Operation Instructions:
1. Insert Dart
Click on the "Dart" tool along the outline to insert a dart, which will then prompt a pop-up dialogue

Sewing | When checked, sewing lines will be automatically added to the dart. | |
Seam Side | Adjust the sewing direction of the dart. |
2. Edit Dart
Use the Move & Edit Pattern or the Dart tool to select the dart
Right-click and choose "Edit Dart" to reset the dart parameters
3. Delete Dart
Use the Move & Edit Pattern or the Dart tool to select the dart
Right-click and choose "Delete Dart" to restore the pattern to its original state
4.Trace as Dart
When use trace tool selecting two baselines, right-click supports "Trace as Dart"
In the following conditions, a popup will display "Failed to trace as dart. Please check the relevant shapes"
If the number of selected baseline is not 2
If the selected object contains internal lines or outlines
If two vertices close to the outline are not on the outline
If two edges do not share a vertex
If the lengths of two edges are not equal
Note: The conditions for successfully outlining as a dart are strict and generally apply only to dart structures imported from pattern-making software
5. Set as Dart
Use Edit Pattern, selecting two connected outlines (excluding holes) will enable the 'Set as Dart' in the right-click menu
A popup dialogue will appear indicating 'Set as Dart' failure under the following conditions:
When the number of selected outlines is not 2
When the selected objects include internal lines
When the lengths of the two lines are not equal (with a difference exceeding 1mm)
