Edit Grading
发布于:2024-09-04
Purpose:
Support users to edit the plate coding information.
Operation Path:
Home ▶ Edit Grading
Operation Instructions:
Object browser ▶ Measure ▶ Grading ▶ “+” ▶ Add size and rename
Click"Grading" ▶ Select the point on the pattern piece to be edited ▶ Adjust the grading information of the points using the Property Editor or the arrow keys ('↑', '↓', '←', '→') on the keyboard.
Curve point coding: Click to put code, right-click blank scene to open [Show curve points], support for curve point coding.

Curve point grading: Click to edit grading, and after right-clicking to open [Show Curve Points] in the blank scene, it supports marking of curve points.
Edit Grading Function
Support for copy-paste for grading along X/Y axes
Operation Path: Start ▶ Grading ▶ Right-click Grading Point
Application Scenario: grading
Requirement Background: In some grading workflows, users only need to reference the X or Y values from other sizes, not both. This flexibility eliminates unnecessary adjustments and ensures better precision.
Support for Grading Buttons, Buttonholes, and Holes
1.Support single and multiple grading for buttons, buttonholes, and holes.
2.Support button placement along a line (placing only the vertices).
3.Support reading ET button placement data.
Operation Path: Home ▶ Edit grading ▶ Choose buttons/buttonholes/holes ▶ Property editor
❏ single and multiple grading for buttons, buttonholes, and holes
❏ Button grading Along Line - Internal Line Placement
Application Scenario: Garment grading
Application Value: Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of garment placement, ensuring that auxiliary materials maintain correct proportions and positions across different sizes, thereby avoiding errors in manual adjustments
Support for Graphic Grading
Support grashic grading by Percentage (Different sizes support different ratios): By default, scaling is based on the graphic center; if the graphic follows vertex placement and the reference point is not the center, scaling will use the selected reference point.
Support grashic grading by Size (Different sizes support different ratios): Allows independent adjustments of width/height percentages for different sizes, with linked adjustments; default is linked adjustment (locked state)
Operation Path: Assets ▶ Graphic ▶ Property Editor ▶ Graphic Grading ▶ Grading Methpd
Application Scenario: When many clients process graphic grading, not only according to the percentage to grading, but also according to the specific width and height of the graphic to grading.
Application Value: Enhance the Efficiency and Precision of Garment garding.
Support for graphic grading based on position
Graphic and notch grading
Zipper grading
Support for alignment to fixed points in grading
Grading supports separate X/Y copying and grading points support shortcut key copy-paste
Operation Path: Start ▶ Eedit Grading ▶ Right-click Grading Point ▶ Align
Application Scenario:
Single-Direction Grading Adjustments: After grading, users can align points to ensure that the grading increments along one axis (X or Y) are accurate.
Deformation Check: Inspect whether the lines connecting graded points (e.g., armholes or curved edges) have been distorted due to misaligned grading points.
X/Y align+reset
Align to X、Y
Support Custom Positioning of Grading Text
Marker Mode: New [Seamallowance Info] Added to Marker Settings
Support for switching display information, including:
Grading names (size types);
Grading Hints (script merging projects);
Seam allowance notes (added via the annotation function);
Display information supports multiple selections.
If QR code is enabled, the seam allowance information position inherits the QR code position; if QR code is disabled, the seam allowance information can be freely adjusted, following the same logic as QR code positioning.
Only grading names of base size pattern pieces can be moved:
Text selection interaction: click on text to select; selection priority: pattern piece > text;
After selecting text, users can drag to move it, with the outermost edge of the pattern piece as the movement path; during dragging, the text becomes bold.
Support Export of AI Multi-Size Files
When exporting AI files, a new pop-up window allows users to select single-size or multi-size export:
If single-size is selected, only the vector path of the current size is exported.
If multi-size is selected, vector paths of all sizes are exported.
○ If users modify multi-size vector paths, alignment will no longer be possible.
Operation Method: File ▶ Export AI ▶ Multiple Size Grading
Application Scenarios: Designers adding texture patterns to different size (S/M/L) patterns in AI can use the multi-size export function to obtain full-size vector files in one go, avoiding the tedious manual alignment after single-size export.
