Solution: You can adjust the image size and other parameters in Rendering▶Render Settings, then use Synchronous rendering for a single image to check the result. Once you're satisfied with the effect, set the desired time in Maximum Render Time.

This way, the multi-image rendering will apply the same render time settings.
