Photomerge(Beta)

Purpose

Quickly stitch large cyclic fabrics in a project to simplify the process and improve efficiency.

Function Path

Start ▶ Fabric stitching (Beta)

Description

Operation requirements:
Select two or more sfab/image/u3m/glb files for stitching. There should be more than 30% similar pixels between adjacent images. The sfab file must contain texture maps.
Texture merging rules:
Only merge the front side of the material (the back side, side surfaces, and physical property data are discarded).
For texture map merging, use an image merging algorithm. Other texture maps follow the merging of the texture map.
If the texture map is missing, it does not participate in the merging. If one or several other texture maps are missing, use basic colors for stitching (normal map: blue-purple; others: black).
Application process:
Scan the fabric by area ▶ Store SFAB files ▶ Merge through fabric stitching (Beta) ▶ Continue processing
If executed before, it will overwrite the texture maps in the "front". If executed after, it will overwrite the texture maps in the "rear" (merge the front side material of the base file)
Uncovered texture maps are retained (for example, if the original project has a displacement map and two sfab files are merged with only texture and normal maps, then the displacement map is not overwritten)
