Upload Trims in Batch

In Library Center, you can batch upload assets such as blocks, fabrics, or trims. This article shows you the latest way of batch uploading trims.
Batch Upload Workflow
Download batch upload template> Fill in excel form> Zip the file and upload> System auto verifies the result> Check out process or result in Task Center.
Download Template and Fill in the Form
Click "Download Template" to download the sample zip file to the local device. The sample zip contains a folder with the 3D file and an Excel sheet with detail information of a button.
You can delete the 3D file in folder and the relevant information of the button in the excel and keep the upload template.
About the Template Form
There are three sheets in the form, including field template, data glossary, and valid values.
1. About Sheet 1 (Basic Field Template)
This is a template sheet with basic field information. Fill in asset data from third row, which provides an example of how you can fill in the data.
Note: The first row is about the field names which are dynamically taken from those configured in basic data management. The second row shows remarks about the property of fields.
2. About Sheet 2 Data Glossary and Sheet 3 Effective Values
Sheet 2 is used to explain field type, required and filling instructions.
Sheet3 lists the list options of all drop-down list fields. You can delete these two sheets when uploading.
3. Instructions for filling in the form in Sheet 1
1.Red characters indicate required items, which must be filled in before uploading
2.In the new template, you can see second row as simple remarks. Please use the new version template. If you are using old template and fill in data from second row, then the second row data upload may fail without system prompt. Data in last two sheets will not be read.
3.System time, linked pictures, system employees and Pantone color system cannot be uploaded in batch.
4.When you fill in the field whose property is checkbox, you can use comma "," to seperate multiple options.
5.If you put an asset file into a folder, you need to fill in the folder name below the "Folder" column. If it is just a single file, fill in the asset name in the "File" column.
6.You can choose to either fill in "Folder" or "File". If you fill in both of them, the system will only read contents from the "Folder" column by default.
Compress Files Before Uploading
Once you fill in the form, you can compress the form and files or folders into a zip file before uploading to platform.
1.If there is SCO or SFAB files, then you can see their thumbnail as cover picture. If there is no, then you can see the first image file in your zip as the cover picture.
3. Images (jpg, jpeg, png) are seen as "Rendered Image".
4. Built-in project files, including sproj, sbtn, strim, sbth, sst, szip, szips, szipt, szipp, sfab, sgp files, belong to the project file, and only the first one can be saved.
5. You can only upload one Excel file in the zip file you want to upload.
6. Asynch workflow of batch upload allows you to use other features when uploading. You can check out the process and results in Task Center.
